This was our first year using our Basset evaporator. Was very pleased how much faster our boiling down went. The company was very nice to deal with.

    24 X 18 Evaporator

Outstanding product! Rarely do you find an item that lives up to its advertising. From the design to the quality of the materials, the assembly instructions and the customer service are all top notch. The evaporation rate and the wood burning efficiency exceeded my expectations. I added castors to the legs which was a plus. Thank you Charlie! Wisconsin Rapids WI

    Worked Great

It takes some time to put the evaporator together with all the nuts/bolts but the instructions were clear and if followed the unit comes together nicely. I had 21 taps and collected 400 gallons of sap to process. At first, it seemed like I was only getting half the of evaporation rate but after posing a question everyone encouraged me to stoke the firebox to the top which I did and achieved about 4-5 gallons per hour. I was very happy as a first timer with this system and it suited me well.

Fantastic Product - Easy to Use, Many Fun Memories and Worth Every Penny.

This is an extremely well-designed product that works like a charm. It was so much fun to build and use this maple season. The only thing I didn't love was preparing and painting the parts. Do yourself a favor and get a can shaker for your sawzall, but more importantly, get a trigger handle to use with the paint cans. It was tons of fun to assemble and all the parts fit perfect. When it comes to boiling sap, this thing performs like a beast! If you're thinking about buying this, just do it!

    24x18 evaporator

I love my little back yard evaporator. I was excited when I put it all togather and started my first boil. I was really excited on how fast it cooked down the sap. I cooked down a gallon in a half this Year and not on an open fire. I love my little evaporator.
